This formidable item is designed more for the rope bondage fans where the ring on the end can be utilised to create some intricate patterns and can also be hooked up to other bondage equipment.
At the hook end (where the ball is) there is around 5" of length that can be inserted (the ball and a portion of the hook). Once the ball is firmly inside then the ring end of the hook rests against the small of the back and it is this ring (which is 30mm diameter) which is used to connect to ropes.
The solid stainless steel ball on the end measures 30mm in diameter and once inserted, ensures that the hook stays in place.
